Printer & SSH quit working after ISP change - Arrrgh!

ARRRggghhh!!!!!

Dangit, I need some help here... lpd starts with the machine & then dies
some indeterminate time after... If there's print jobs in the queue, & I
restart lpd, it prints them & then seems to die a short time later...

SSH connections work, so it seems to be no problem there... It tries to
forward X connections, & they never make it out of the box, so far as I can
tell... No errors appear...

>From the console, X will run the 1st day or two after a reboot, but after
that it croaks & gives errors, requiring a machine restart to work again,
regardless of the user....

Gadzooks! I didn't have these problems until I changed ISP's... WTF, over?

As an aside, I am using DHCP to get my machine info on Directv Internet...
It would seem, that as of this morning, I have lost all connections to the
outside world... What a pain in the rear...
