Hi all,
I have an IBM RS6000 AIX4.2 as my main server, which printed remotely to a
RH5.2 box with a printer port connected generic text line-printer. All
worked fine, and if a printer error occured - e.g. out of paper - the
printing resumed once the problem was cleared.
Last week this box went TU on me so I took the oportunity to upgrade the box
to RH7.1. AFAIK, I've configured it the same way, but now if we have a
printer problem, printing does not resume automatically - I need to issue
'lpc stop' followed by 'lpc start' before it will start printing again.
Anyone got any ideas how I can fix this.
