Reminds me, when we switched from inetd to xinetd, we had quite some
trouble because we tried to start some service (don't remember which) with
an option turned on somehow like command -ti, and only several hours later
found out that xinetd has a separate field for the options it should pass to
the daemon (in inetd it was one field for command+options). -- perhaps it's something like that?
