Save Yourself

What is the "Save Yourself" command? I keep getting "no response to the
Save Yourself command. The program may be slow, stopped, or broken. You
may wait for it to respond or remove it." every time I start X and
sometimes when I log out. I always choose "remove" since the other button
just made the message come back (now it goes away until next login or log
out). I'm using 7.1. I guess this isn't a big problem but it's a little
annoying.
