Programmer's File Editor is the best Windows text editor I have ever
used. It transparently loads and edits text files in either DOS or UNIX
end-of-line format. It also allows you to easily change a file from one
format to the other (easier than ":set ff=unix"). It loads files of any
size (up to the resource limits of the machine) and opens multiple files
at once. It has easy to use, storable macros and lots of other features
that come in handy to anyone administering Linux boxes from a Winbox.

It's freeware and used to be available from the author's homepage. I kept
a copy and posted at:

There's no setup program. Just unzip it and put the files in a directory
of your choice.
