I'm using Sylpheed, which does similar to what you want. It doesn't (and
can't) reply based on the foloder it's looking at. But, it will reply
using the address that the mail was sent to.
I have 3 different email addresses on this machine. I receive mail for
them with Sylpheed. I could filter based on the To: address if I wanted.
But, it doesn't currently matter because if I get mail in the Inbox, it
will reply using whichever address the mail was sent to.
If I filtered to various folders I'd know (or should) what address would
be used. Instead I don't care because Sylpheed handles it for me. I'd
just need to take some positive action to change it if I needed to for
some reason.
All of my accounts are POP. If you have separate IMAP accounts that
shouldn't make any difference, _ASSUMING_ Sylpheed can handle more than
one. I don't know since I don't do IMAP. You could try it to see or
maybe it's in the FAQ/docs.
