RE: MBR problems

1. boot from install medium.
2. At prompt enter "rescue"
3. chroot /mnt/sysimage
4. run lilo
5. shutdown properly or sync file system
6. reboot and enter parameters in /etc/lilo.conf
7. run lilo again to add new OS

That should do it.

Hi, while installing another OS on my Dell machine, which already had Linux
on the physical partitions 1&2 I managed ot mess up the MBR. The machine
isn't able to boot at all. I would like to boot into Linux and then use lilo
to boot FreeBSD. Is there a recovery possible?
