Hi all
No, No this is not what i ment.
the kernel is compiled and when i try to use vga kernel argument (or in
lilo.conf vga="xxx") to enter a supervga mode, the screen just goes blank.
The processes and all the other init stuff is working, i can logon and
startx but i must do all these blind, because i can't see anything on my
screen until X starts. The kernel-2.4.2-2 from standard installation is
working without any problem with high vga modes (like 1024x... or
1600x...) in any number of colours. So, what is the kernel make config
option to enable this option?
Thanks
