Hello, I have connected my Linux box to the DSL gateway using the Ethernet adaptor I have. The interface comes up fine but I am not able to ping to the address on the interface. I have configured it to use DHCP. The diagnostics from the gateway say the PC to DSL interface is down. What could be wrong? The diagnostics also say that the routable interface on the DSl is USB. I would appreciate any help in this regard. I am using Telocity DSL - CA, USA.
