I take it that the 192.168.0.1 is your firewall. It needs to be able to
forward packets for other computers on your network. That is a separate
issue I am sure you know how to handle. If not, go to www.linux.com for
HOWTOs on firewalls.
You need to point your win98 machine to the firewall machine. The firewall
is the gateway, the machine that connects to another network. So under
your network properties, open TCP/IP settings. Under gateway enter the IP
address of the firwall, 192.168.0.1. That is all that is required to have
a win98 machine connect.
