mouse problem

  Hi all,

  I have a problem with my mouse (doesn't work) when I start X windows or
when I switch from windows mode to text mode. The only solution is to unplug
it from PC and put it back. After that it works.
  Please, can you help me with that problem?
  I have RH 7.1 (it's the third time when I try to install and configure an
linux and this time i won't give up)
