I guess that this was really my question. Where do I find the transfer
rates that I'm currently getting. My network card is a 10/100 card
(whatever that means). I don't know what type of cable I have, but its
about 10 feet long (perhaps too long?).
How can I look at my network traffic and see what sorts of speeds I'm
getting?
