Hello,
i've got some users... that i need to be able to upload to the html
directory anybody know a clean way to do this.. i mean the last time
when i used suse they told me to upload to the users home directory
and then login and copy to the html dirctory but that was to much..
any ideas??
I assume that you want to let users have their own web pages
correct ? Well what is an easy thing to do is to create a public_html
directory for each user and tell them to put their web stuff there.
You could create a SAMBA share for windows and maybe call it w: and
let them directly put things into that drive it will automagically
appear at a url such as http://www.yoursite.com/~user
HTH. Cheers,
Aly.
