Hello,

As mentioned you have to define mail server. You may find it useful to setup 2 machines say running RedHat Linux and your favourite mail server. Set them to accept mail for the domains you host and they in turn forward mail to the correct server internal to your network. These are relay mail servers.

You could give these 2 machines the same MX level and they will be tried in random. This will benefit you in terms of incoming mail load balancing. You could also have antivirus and spam control measures on these machines.

If you are running pop/imap, depending on the size of your system/network/user base you can setup 1 or more servers. You could use the Linux virtual server software to sort these sort of problems for such services. Further to that you will have to provide us with more information to help you in specific areas.
