redhat 7.3 crash

well i downloaded redhat 7.3 in june and installed it on a pentium3 800 
with 512 mb of ram and am using kdm with kde as the desktop manager. but it 
seems to hang after a couple of daysof running and needs to be rebooted. 
could you please tell me if there is a bug in the standard distribution 
which might be causing this. thank you
