which seems to have good descriptions of IP tables firewall building.
I've had a number of project waiting a better comprehension of
iptables, and hopefully this book will let me get there...
Second, I have been using dhcpd to assign ip addresses to the various
machines on my home network. However, with the upgrade it will not
initialize. It keeps telling me I need to add a line "ddns-update-style
ad-hoc;" to my dhcpd.conf.
Try moving the clause *outside* your subnet scope. I put the new option
as the first line in my dhcpd.conf.
