No, it's HTML.


If you look closely you'll find that his software has been lying to him. It looks like Exchange has taken the Rich Text format message, and rendered it as HTML. Take a look at the last line of the excerpt below.

One of the more intesting bits of Exchange 2000 (aka 6.0.6249.1 presumably) is that it will store messages in whatever format they came in, and send them out in the desired format after running them through a transformation process if necessary...
