Questions about building a rpm

Title: Questions about building a rpm

Hi,
I have two questions about building my RPM's:
1) In rpm build procedure how can I avoid it to run ldd on files?
2) I need the installed files placed on directory other than / , I tried to change the Prefix field to <new path> in spec file but it doesn't work?!!!
