Ed, how does this checkinstall compare to other programs that
automatically create rpm packages? I am more interested in a program that
will create rpms for distribution.
I noticed a lot of source packages like courier imap allow you to build
the rpm and source rpm directly from the source tar package. The is
probably the best way to handle this but not many developers use this
method.
