There is a lot of chatter on the SUN site about java.lang.ClassFormatError
and ClassCastException dating back to mid last year and to version 1.3.1
Some of the solutions are bordering on either genius or madness ! Seems
like SUN / Symantec are fully aware, but have not done anything about it.
Basically myjava runs fine on command line accessing a db-server, but the
result set is raw, so you format it with HTML or javascript in HTML :
right ? But if I embed this applet in the HTML script, it gives me these
two errors.
And another thing : the latest SUN j2sdk1.4.0 includes a runtime
environment, but in order to use the browsers I have to install
j2re1.4.0_01 runtime environment for them because these have the plug-ins.

I am a bit frustrated with SUN/Symentec's lackadaisical approach to this.
