Hi All,
Does anyone have a documented procedure to install
RAID 1 configuration on a system which is currently
using sd[a-z] devices?
I have a server with two internal disks, /dev/sda and
/dev/sdb, identical geometry and I copied the /dev/sda
partition table to /dev/sdb. All set to
go...unfortunately, I cant seem to mirror /dev/sda to
/dev/sdb using the /dev/md0 and /dev/md1 conventions.
The paritions in /dev/sda are /boot, /, /home, /var
and swap and I like to mirror all these. I already
setup the initial ram disk with raided root partition.
Appreciate any ideas..
Thanks
