i ran up2date the other day and during the "preparing...." part, i got the
oddest message:
<snip>
Preparing... ######################## [100%]
1:glibc-common ######################## [ 14%]
2:glibc ######################## [ 28%]
INIT: version 2.84 reloading
3:glibc-kernheaders ####################### [ 42%]
<snip>
is that ok?
i didn't think so
but my chkrootkit is telling me nothing
and i haven't made any firewall changes
(still running the ipchains firewall setup by lokkit with only ports 80, 22,
and 21 open)
can someone put my fears to rest?
