Hehe, your right, I do not want to remove all end user programs.

Have to exemplify the problem:
When I install say mplayer, I also have to install a number of packages
to make mplayer work. If I want to remove mplayer there is no problem.
Mplayer has done herself famous in my mind, and I know how to uninstall
mplayer. But all the packages I installed together with mplayer are out
of my control, since I cant remember them. And if I am able to find out
which packages mplayer depends on, I dont know if other programs needs
them.
Is there any way to find & remove packages which do not have any
possible functions on my computer?
