Hosts_access

RH72 w/ latest updates.

In man hosts.deny (points to hosts_access) it says that you can do something
like:

[app]: ALL: (/usr/bin/safe_finger -l @%h | /bin/mail -s %d-%h root) &

I have tested this out and find that the line is executed when [app] is
attempted to be connected to and no matching rule in hosts.allow was found
first. However, the email never gets sent. Was curious why this doesn't
seem to work. Played around with it far to long... Anyone understand this
better than me? Have something to do with xinetd?
