Thanks Patrick, that helped.  I tried mounting the HFS filesystem and did
get it to mount but could only see a couple of files on it, including a
readme file that said you have to use Mac OS 8.1 or above.  I'll take it
back to him and tell him to save it as an ISO9660 or something I can read.
