NIC Auto Shutdown Problem

Hello,

Is any one aware of auto shutdown feature in RedHat 8.0 for a NIC? The
interface is up and working fine during the day but when I come in the
following morning it's down. Seems like there is a auto shutdown feature
enable to shutdown the NIC if no activity is dectected for a certain amount
of time. How can I turn this off so the NIC is up all the time?
