I would suggest booting one of them, using e2label to change its
label, changing /etc/fstab to reflect the new label.
But before you reboot !!!!!!!!!!! make a boot floppy to be sure you
can get back into it in case something goes wrong.
Assuming nothing does (go wrong, that is) you should then be able to
boot either, assuming your lilo.conf or grub.conf is set up right.
