Re: how is it that the USB zip drive becomes /dev/sda4?

While on this subject :
As a normal user, I can mount the ZIP drive for myself, then when I do a "mount"
I can see the that I have control over it :
However when I try to "umount" or "eject" it,   I get the error message "umount
: /dev/zip250.0 device is busy"  ???
