man mkbootdik
Basically:
# mkbootdisk <kernel_version>
'kernel_version" is used with nothing more than the numbers, for
instance:
mkbootdisk 2.4.18-11
It automatically writes to fd0 and gives a prompt. Read the manpage for
other options and switches.
