RH 8 does not wake up

I have a computer with RH 8 on it. If I let it run for 2-3 days it will go to sleep and I can't wake it up with the keyboard or mouse. Is there a problem with Advanced Power Management and if there is how do I shut off APM. I can find instructions to do this in LILO, but I'm using GRUB. Any help would be appreciated.
