Some time back, I set up a Red Hat 7.3 based network install source tree
where RedHat/comps from the install CDs were edited quite a bit so that
the default setup would better suit my needs. Now I want to switch to Red
Hat 8.0 or 9, and make similar changes, but I notice that the format of
the "comps" file has changed (to an XML based format), so I can't simply
merge in my updates directly. Is there a simple way to convert the
old-style files into the new format? And what is the best/recommended way
to modify comps.xml, anyway? Editing it in a plain-text editor seems
somewhat awkward.
