sendmail with masquerading

To eliminate some mail hosts rejecting my mail postings due to
warnings like my hostname cannot be backtraced I've supplied a smart
mail host and masquerading in the sendmail.cf file, however, I still
get warnings like:
[...]
--------------------- sendmail Begin ------------------------
826928 bytes transferred
199 messages sent
Authentication warnings:
aederhaag set sender to aederhaag attbi com using -f: 4 Times(s)
---------------------- sendmail End -------------------------
[...]
on my root mail. Is there a way of getting the masquerading but not
these messages? Sometimes AOL mail postings will still indicate this
problem. Is that a problem with their server or mine?
