I doubt it's the install, as it's "recommended", not "minimum". I'm
just wondering what that "recommended" is based on.
But even for installing: A text-mode install should use minimal
resources, IMO. RHL4.2/5.2 installed on 8MB machines in text-mode -
and the installed has not improved *that* much since as to warrant the
extra horsepower required, IMO. On the other hand, I don't expect this
to change anymore, as RH is clearly going the "business" direction,
with home users as an afterthought. Makes sense moneywise, of course.

Good to know that's still possible. Though, when my firewall still was
just a firewall, a 486 or a Sparc IPX would suffice. :-)
