I configured alsa using the instructions from "AlsaConfiguration.txt" (
-found on /usr/share/doc/alsa-driver/Documentation after instaling
alsa-driver.xxx.rpm).; I still have no sound ( at boot up I get the
message "can not read from ELF header files
/lib/.../drivers/sound/snd-via82xx.o" ; " unresolved dependencies
/usr/.../drivers/sound/snd-..." )
If I start a multimedia application like noatun, it runs like everything
is ok, no errors, but I can't hear anything. Also I get an error when I
try to start amixer ( missing atachement ...) and I can not use kmixer
either.
Does someone know what should I do?
