but that did not seem to work..

 

i tried using the chkconfig --list command to see if sawfish was there but got no reply..

 

does this mean that sawfish is not installed correctly??

- login with ur username
- open a terminal window
- run this:

killall metacity&sawfish&

- click LOGOFF - and be sure to SAVE CURRENT SETUP
- relogin

u should have sawfish running by then.
