hi,
i'm beginning to think that the problem lies in the fact that i can't get
the sendmail daemon to stop/restart/start. when i telnet to port 25 the
connection is refused, and when i try to explicitly shutdown sendmail
through services, the message tells me sendmail was stopped successfully,
but the sm-client was not, which either means it couldn't be stopped, or it
wasn't running in the first place. any thoughts? thanks
ilya
