Re: cd burning script

HEllo,

I have a backup-script that works a bit in this way:

It is executed from cron.
I make tgz-backups of defined directories and stores these tgz´ s in a 
"backup-Dir".
It checks for the size of the backup-dir. If the size is to high, it 
sends me an email with the command to burn the CD.
So I just have to insert the CD, copy the command from the email to the 
commandline and be happy.

Unfortunately the rest of this page is in german. But maybe you can 
figure something out from the perl-script.
