Hi,
Can
some one help clarify the core dump file mechanism on linux 2.4.X
please?
a) By default where
is the core dump file written to? Is it written to the current working directory
or the location of teh executable?
b) Can the location
of the core dump file be changed?
c) Can the name of
the core dump file be changed?
with
thanks,
Madhav.
