Clement, the only thing I know for a fact (we specialize in the 
D865PERLL boards - chipset would be the same), is that IF the board 
supports RAID (I'm not sure, and don't have time at the moment to find 
out), then you must use the RAID BIOS part of the main system BIOS to 
set the single drive to striping mode.

Yes, it seems stupid, and I don't have time at the moment to go into it, 
but try it. If it's anything like the D865PERLL it will work.
