How to enable Java in OpenOffice? (Intel, RedHat 8.0)

Hi people,

How can I enable Java in the OpenOffice that comes with 8.0? I've installed Sun's JVM. I tried to fiddle with ~/.openoffice/user/config/javarc, but alas, I can't get it to work. I've enabled java in the menu Tools -> Options... -> OpenOffice.org -> Security.

Does anyone know how to enable Java?
Does anyone have an example javarc file?
