Even after you installed java you have to link it to netscape which do not
currently know whether you installed or not. You have to make a symbolic
link like:
ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.1/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji.so ~/.netscape/plugins/
or if you use mozilla then it's
ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.1/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji.so /usr/lib/mozilla-version_number_you_have/plugins
Personnaly I prefer mozilla. It's better than netscape!
