service myservice does not support chkconfig

I'm trying to configure my script to start with chkconfig, I use the
following command:

chkconfig --level 2345 myservice on

But that gives me this message:

service myservice does not support chkconfig

But my scripte does support start | stop | restart

Why? How do I fgure out whats wrong?
