Re: Wireless setup



You should have installed wireless-tools, then you
could configure your wireless card using: iwconfig
eth0

iwconfig is like ifconfig but it is used for wireless
cards, read the man pages for iwconfig.
This is my iwconfig output:

root linux:# iwconfig eth0
eth0 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"ciberia" Nickname:"lucas"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462GHz Access Point:
00:90:D1:01:68:ED

Bit Rate:11Mb/s Tx-Power=15 dBm Sensitivity:1/3
RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off
