I am studying linux at home and I have 2 machines
 
1) Redhat linux # 9 server
2)Windoes 2000 professional
 
I have 2 cards in the Linux box 
 
1) eth0- internal net
2) eth1- external net
 
I want to be able to connect the  Windoes 2000 professional machine to the Redhat linux # 9 server and be able to go out on the internet and have its IP masqed.
 
I need step by step instructions or a place to get them.
 
Can you help
 
I found some instructions on the redhat site I used for an earlier Kernal 2.2x (redhat 7, 7.1 -7.3) but I geusse there are somem considerations for redhat 8 and 9. (shrugs)
 
 
 
 **also to how can you tell what kernal version you are using   ???????????????????? is there a command for it ..
