Plustek 9630P Parallel Port Scanner module

Hello

I'm bound to make an old Plustek 9630P scanner, and the required module
found here : 
http://www.gjaeger.de/scanner/plustek.html
doesn't compile, even with the whole bunch of recompiling required with
the sane backends. 

Anyone got an idea to make it work/compile with a RH9 (or know if it
works with another release) ?
