Mozilla Anti-aliasing / quality of fonts

Hello All.

I have RH9 and use the mozilla 1.2.1 inclosed with the distribution,I added to 
my machine Truetype fonts,and Mozilla found and use these well,but the screen 
quality is much less than the same machine in Windows2000,I think I have 
missed anything,I installed freetype with bytecode option enabled,but changes 
are not recognizable.  My machine have a Nvidia Geforce4 64MB and a KDS 17"

Any suggestion for increase the quailty of the screen?
