Install Wireless acx100 driver

I have compiled the driver for my D-LINK 650+ and installed the driver. I have add the alias in modules.config, and the module load's fine. I can start the new device with my start_script that use iwconfig and ifconfig. All works fine, but now I want use RedHat 9 ifup scrip to start the interface. How can I do that?

I have tried to define my new device with the network assistend, but my network device isn't in the device list. Can I modifie this list and add my new driver?
