I am concerned about the limits of Red Hat GFS 6.0 installed on Red Hat Enterprise 3 AS. 

Do you know if there is a list focusing on GFS?

If you're concerned about RHEL releases, you should try posting to
taroon-list.  That's where the RHEL 3 discussion is happening and Red
Hat kernel developers hang out there.
