Kernel Problems

Dear Srs,

We're using Redhat Enterprise Server 2.1 (Kernel 2.4.9-e.24smp) 
runing on IBM xSeries 235 (2 Xeon Processors, 1 GB RAM, RAID 5 and 
RAID 1). The system crashed by outage of power and when we started up 
the system it show us problems on MP table as showed on log bellow: 
Dec 18 09:40:34 rms-db kernel: WARNING: MP table in the EBDA can be 
UNSAFE, contact linux-smp vger kernel org if you experience SMP 
problems!

Dec 17 09:44:54 rms-db kernel: WARNING: MP table in the EBDA can be 
UNSAFE, contact linux-smp vger kernel org if you experience SMP 
problems!

Dec 18 09:40:30 rms-db ifup: cmd. line:1: (FILENAME=- FNR=1) fatal 
error: internal error

Visting sites on internet (mainly kernel.org) we've found so many 
patches that corrects problems on Kernel SMP since version 2.4.9. So 
we'd like what action do you recommend us to make. Are There other 
patches avaiable? Is it interesting to apply them ? We're looking 
forward your help!!
