Help for parallel port communication

Hi,
i have a redhat 8 and a SCO Openserver installed on
two different machines.

i want to establish a communication channel between
SCO and Linux. There is no network card in the SCO
Unix machine.
SCO has only one terminal adapter containng 8 ports of
25 pin.
Could any one explain how i will connect these two
machines.

also two COM ports are there in the SCO machine..can i
get the login prompt using the serial ports..which
software i should use for that
